OLIVIA VILLA
Olivia Villa
Madrid, Spain
This project was conceived for Madrid’s urban and climatic context, where light evolves throughout the day and the seasons shape the way spaces are lived. The architecture responds through a sculptural entrance gesture that protects, filters, and anticipates the interior, while the inclined volume controls solar exposure and gives the residence its iconic character.
The ground level opens strategically toward private courtyards and gardens, allowing cross-ventilation and a constant relationship with the outdoors without compromising privacy. Mineral materials, deep shadows, and covered transitions provide thermal comfort in both summer and winter, creating spaces meant to be inhabited year-round.
More than a house, it is a residence designed for a European rhythm of living — luminous, quiet, and precise, where every path and every opening balances privacy, climate, and quality of life.
